À l’occasion du coffret réédition de Seeds of Love, album sorti en 1989, le duo pop-rock Tears for Fears dévoile « Rhythm of Life », une démo qui n’avait encore jamais vu le jour.

Composée en 1986 par la moitié du groupe Roland Orzabal avec la clavériste Nicky Holland (avec qui le groupe avait co-écrit certains morceaux de l’album), « Rhythm of Life » aurait dû figurer parmi les titres de Seeds of Love. Finalement, ce ne fut pas le cas puisque Roland Orzabal la donna à la chanteuse Oleta Adams, qui en fit le premier track de son album Circle of One sorti en 1990.

Cette sortie inédite est un premier extrait du coffret réédition de Seeds of Love attendu pour le 9 octobre. Il contiendra l’album remasterisé, avec des démos, des singles et des B-sides, ou encore des mix alternatifs. Comme avec « Rhythm of Life », le groupe dévoilera 22 inédits dans le coffret de cinq disques. Disponible en version « Super Deluxe » ou en version réduite sur deux disques, le coffret est à précommander ici.
